Schängel Fountain

The Schängel fountain: Probably one of the most expressive landmarks of the city of Koblenz – because it embodies the Rhenish way of life and conjures up a smile on the face of one or two visitors with its cheeky Schängel character. He can be found in Koblenz’s old town, on Willi-Hörter-Platz. Nowadays, all native Koblenzers call themselves Schängel, real rascals.
