Stolzenfels Castle
(Closed in December & January)
In the south of Koblenz, in the district of Stolzenfels, the castle of the same name towers high above the Rhine. Open to the public since 1842, it has been regarded as the epitome of Rhine Romanticism ever since.
Today, this beautiful and almost enchanted-looking castle complex, where you can experience the impressive living culture of the 19th century, is accessible on foot via a winding path from the district of Stolzenfels.
